Praise the Lord, we made it to 37 weeks!! I am at peace now knowing I am full term and should Gum Drop arrive today (which would be really cool because it's my great-grammie's birthday!) he would likely be healthy and a-okay! I've got to be honest; I really have had this major fear of my body just.. well, shutting down and giving in and not taking care of him anymore.. just because I had 4-6 weeks recovery time.. which obviously is nowhere near enough time for a woman's body to recover after delivering a baby. I feel beyond blessed to have made it here.. full term.. with my 3rd baby.. healthy.. never had to miss a day of work.. thank you thank you! =)
"Give thanks to the LORD, call on his name; make known among the nations what he has done. Sing to him, sing praise to him; tell of all his wonderful acts. Glory in His holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the LORD rejoice. Look to the LORD and His strength; seek His face always." - 1 Chronicles 16: 8-11

Any new baby items: I received a package from Linda, who is the mother of a good friend from college - Linda sent me 2 outfits for Mr.Gum Drop (so cute!) and a nice shirt and vest for me (after I get rid of this baby (x2) weight). Thank You Linda!!! That was very unexpected and extremely thoughtful!!
Any new maternity items: no thank you.. done.done.done. My nice warm sweaters from my pregnancy with Gabby are even too small at this point but I am not wasting anymore $$ on maternity clothes!!

Weekly wisdom:I just want to share that I have an incredible husband; he has been my 'wisdom' and my voice of reason through this entire pregnancy.. from the moment I told him I was pregnant again.. through all of the fear and anxieties.. he has been my everything through all of this. He is truly an amazing husband and father. I am one lucky lady =)
Milestones: Your baby is now considered "full term," even though your due date is three weeks away. If you go into labor now, his lungs will likely be mature enough to fully adjust to life outside the womb.Your baby weighs 6 1/3 pounds and measures a bit over 19 inches, head to heel. Many babies have a full head of hair at birth, with locks from 1/2 inch to 1 1/2 inches long. But don't be surprised if your baby's hair isn't the same color as yours. Dark-haired couples are sometimes thrown for a loop when their children come out as blonds or redheads, and fair-haired couples have been surprised by Elvis look-alikes. And then, of course, some babies sport only peach fuzz.
